MISS THORPE was well up during the early running, but bored out In the stretch and lost much ground, then came fast near the end and got up In the final stride for second place. CHEER UP ran well, but was tiring badly at the end. MERRY BEAU closed a big gap. CON CURUAN tired after running in closest pursuit to the stretch. BEACn SAND closed a big gap and finished fast and close up. WOOLWINDER. set the pace to the stretch and tired. MONT-CLA1R was gaining at the end.
