CHURCHILL DOWNS STAKES ARE ANNOUNCED. Eight ,000 Added Events, Besides Kentucky Derby and Oaks, to Make Up Spring Program. Louisville. Kv.. February J.— The stakes for the coming spring meeting of the New I-ouisville Jockey Club at Churchill Downa were announced todav by Secretary Lyman H. Davbj and will close for entries March 2. Louisville Handicap, six furlongs. Churchill Powjis Handicap, one mile and an eighth. Frank Fehr Stakes, selling, one mile. Tobacco Stakes, selling, six furlongs. Those for two year olds arc: Bashford Manor .Stakes, for colts and geldings, four and a half furlong-. Debutante Stakes, for fillies, four furlongs. Juvenile Stakes, selling, for colt-, geldings and fillies, live furlongs. The Kentucky Derby and Daks for 1012 have long Since closed, and these two races for 1813 will not Close until Hie spring of 1913, when the then eligibles are 1 hroe-ycar-olds.
