1 ALL IS SERENE AT JIAREZ RACING IS AGAIN RESUMED AT MEXICAN COURSE NEAR EL PASO. Perfect Order Prevails and Large Crowd of Curious People Wend Their Way to Track— Little Marchmont Scores for New Owner. Kl PaSO, Tex.. February 28. — Racing, which was interrupted yesterday by the capture of Juarez by the Vasquista insurgents, was resumed at Hie tra U of the Jockey Club Juarea this afternoon. The race going public were not at all sure that the races wnuld be run. but. thanks to the executive ability of Colonel Winn, car service between the border cities was resumed this forenoon. Four favorites rewarded the public. Dromi won the opener after picking up the pacemaker in the stretch. Little Marchmont. purchased yesterday by I. Striker, won the second race at the liberal Kids of six to one. Hazel .. owned by J. A. Ochoa, of Juanz. won the third race at the long adds of 20 to 1. She outpaced the favorite. Cuaranola. for the en-1 tin- distance. Bob Farley, which has rounded to his good f,,ini of last season, bad no trouble in again scoring. Wade McLemore. the owner of Meadow, arrived from his Texas ranch and intends to spend the remainder of the season here. Final declarations for the Kentuckv Derby ami Kentucky Oaks of 1912 are due March 1. Bob McGibben, who is now a passenger agent for the Southern Paeitic Railroad, brought in a inn signment of [Tatted States troops from San Antono and was a visitor at the track today.
