MUD AT JUAREZ FOR A CHANGE. Sebago Wins Chapultepec Stakes After His Owner Had Considered Scratching Him. HI Iaso. Tex., March 11.— The heaviest rain and wind storm of the season visited this section yesterday aad the Juarez track was muddy. The racegoers braved the elements, however, turning out in largi numbers. The Hoods began to lift early in the afternoon and when Sebago and Araeee were going to the ] st to race for the Chapultepec Stakes, the sun shone clear and blight. Arnspe was a strong choice on the streagth of his previous good performances. Because of the condition of the going, Mr. Brandt felt like scratching Sebago, but was induced to let him start by Secretary Jasper. and he added the race to his credit. Sebauo started right out in make the pace and at the half mile ground he had gained an advantage of four lengths over Araeee. It was then that jockey Carter started to call on Arasee with whip ami spurs, but Sebago only Increased his lead in the stretch and he won with Hill palled up at the finish. Only one favorite maaaged to tinish in front. Hush Gray, recently purchased by Lotta Gladstone.
