WOODSTOCK STABLE ARRIVES AT WOODBINE Toronto Ont April 19 Six head of horses from the Woodstock Stable the property of Charles and J W Boyle have arrived at Woodbine The horses are in charge of trainer Fred Smith and it is ex ¬ pected that the Messrs Boyle will have second call on the services of jockey Schuttinger during the spring meeting here hereAt At the head of the Woodstock lot is Detective the sturdy sou of Meddler with a victory iu the Hamil ¬ ton Derbv and other stakes to his credit He was raced but little last season owing to an injured leg but he is again as sound as ever and will be condi ¬ tioned at the local course Others iu the stable are Tophct Helen Winter Cast Steel Golden Wedding and Allaneeu The horses have been given their preliminary work at The Firs the Boyle property near Woodstock and all are ready to undergo the finishing touches
