JOCKEY CLUB MEMBER DIES IN EAST New1 York July 5 J Harry Alexandre for many years prominently Identified with racing af ¬ fairs In this state died last Sunday at his summer residence Shore Acres Rosebank Staten Hand Mr Alexandra was sixtyfour years old and had been ill for nearly a year He was the youngest son of the late Francis Alexnndre who was the founder and chief owner or the Alexandre steam ¬ ship line now Known as the Ward line operating stenmshlps between this port and Cuba Mexico and South America AmericaAir Air Alexandre was vicepresident of the Coney Island Jockey Club member of The Jockey Club steward of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Asso ¬ ciation President of the Riding Club director of the Saratoga Association for the Improvement of the Breed of Horses Richmond County New York Yacht Aero Turf and Field Aletropolitan Tuxedo and the Racquet and Tennis Clubs He was also a member of the American Aluseum of Natural History and of the New York Zoological Society
