INVESTIGATION OF BREEDING IS ON Albany N Y July S Commissioner Iluson of the State Department of Agriculture is arranging for an investigation of horse breeding for the pur l se of stimulating and promoting the industry in Xew York State StateExaminations Examinations are to be made of the conditions under which horses of various types are produced elsewhere Conditions throughout the state are to lie studied with a view of ascertaining what class of horses can he more profitably produced in any given locality taking into consideration the princi ¬ pal conditions in such localities and the practicability if establishing breeding stations for horses of vari ¬ ous types in most demand in the state is about to be considered
