CHARLES KOHLER BUYS KEENE FILLIES New York July 17 Thirteen yearling fillies were sold today by James R Kecne to Charles Kohler and they will on August 15 be brought from Ken turky and kept at Mr Kohlers stock farm in New Jersey known as the Raraapo Stud until next year Then they will IK sent to France where Mr Kohler has leased a stud farm where he now has the stal ¬ lion Uncle and about fifteen broodmares No figures were named for the fillies purchased but it is said on good authority that they averaged 1000 each James eachJames Howe who is Harry Payne Whitneys manager at the Brookdale Stud New Jersey was a passenger on board the Lusltnnia today He crosses lo take charge of Mr AVhitneys yearlings after a fliort stay at Carlsbad
