PURELY A RECREATION JAUNT New York July IS James Rowe who was a passenger on the Cunard liner Lusitania Tuesday for Europe goes abroad on the advice of his physi ¬ cians and will remain on the continent for six or eight weeks Mr Rowes earnestness in his duties as superintendent and trainer at Brookdale Harry Payne Whitneys New Jersey breeding establish ¬ ment has in a measure undermined his health and he will recuperate at Carlsbad Arriving in England Mr Rowe will go to Newmarket and visit Andrew Jackson Joyner who is training winners for Mr Whitney Mr Rowe will remain but one day in Great Britain and his stay in France to meet old associates will be of short duration
