IS A MODEL RACING PLANT NEW TRACK AT HAVRE DE GRACE VIRTUALLY READY TOR OPENING Abundance of Horses Assured for Inaugural Meet ¬ ing Beginning August 20 Description of the Track and Its Equipment Baltimore Mil August 12 The Harford Agri culture and Breeding Association the latest aspirant 1 enter the racing field in Marvland will make its initial IMW to the public August 20 at Havre de race with an uptodate plant complete in every particular particularthe the new track is something of a marvel in con ¬ duction having grown up as it were in a night Ground was not broken until June IS but since that time a big force of laborers has turned the bare Hi Ids into a modern racetrack with grandstand clubhouse paddock stables and all the paraphernalia incessary lo carry on the sport in firstclass fashion fashionThe The track is located on an admirably chosen sie about two miles from Ihe Havre tie Grace station and lo Ihe south of the railroad A spur from the PnnsylvanIa will take the race trains directly to the gate while a short walk away the Baltimore t Ohio will erect a new station lo accommodate racing pa In ins over its line The track can be reached in less than an hour from Haltimorc and Wilmington and in a little more than an hour from Philadelphia PhiladelphiaAbout About one hundred acres were included in the i riginal purchase for Ihe enterprise extending from
