PETER WIMMER A VETERAN TRAINER TRAINERLouisville Louisville Ky September 25 Peter Wimmer who has departed for Germany will probably he come connected with the stable of Baron Oppenheim on reaching that country He expects to remain abroad several years Mr Wimmer is one of the veteran trainers of the thoroughbred in America He had the two great fillies Belle of the Meade and Bradamante in charge during the 70s and in after years he trained such stars as Ben Holladay High Order Trolley Kinley Mack and Ocean Tide Mr Wimmer Is the only trainer who ever won in tlie same season the Suburban and Brooklyn Handi ¬ caps with the same horse he accomplishing this feat with Kinley Mack in 1900 That great horse Is now In the Argentine Republic
