RACING GOSSIP FROM KENTUCKY Cincinnati O November C Dr C Cami patlilock judge on the Louisville and Latonia tracks spent Sunday at J B Respess farm and gelded four horses including a yearling colt and the wellknown racers Vrecland Water Welles and Northcut Mr Respess now has only three horses on his place they lieiiig his stallions Dick Welles and Marathon and andyoung young horse named Grizzly Bear He has only onlyo o more yearlings of his 1912 crop to sell He has eight of this age that he intends to have trained and raced next season and alj the others he ias sold privately this fall The lemuid is so great r young horses this fall that Mr Respess could have long sinw sold out his entire crop for more than average prices He intends however to again race si big fctring of horses next season He calculates oo having at least twenty horses to take np for training the coining spring Though he lias not fully decided he will probably do his spring training next season at Churchill Downs or Douglas Park shipping his entire aggregation to Louisville caily In March MarchAnother Another horse Dr Cann has just gelded is the tolt John 1 Wakelield which is In A D Steeled stable This twoyearold will ba turned out until next spring springR R F Carman will ship his twentynine horses by fxjtress from Lntouia to Juarez next Monday the day before the lig race sKcial is to start for that place There will be fourteen loaded horse cars in the special and it will take three cars to carry the Carman stable to the Mexico course This will be seventeen cars from hero to the winter track which is by long odds a record shipment Mr Carman is taking evciv horse he has in training to Juarez this fall He will make a liberal entry in tho Jockey Club Juarez Stakes which close tomorrow W O Jopliu is the latest recruit for Juarez racing He has about made up his mind to ship ail his horses to the Mexican course this fall and also the twoyearolds Chilton King and Terrible Bill owned by C Bills BillsJ J C Cahn who has not raced at Juarez since the season of 191011 will send his entire string to th Mexico course this fall This includes the good per ¬ formers Sleeth and Mockler and several yearlings that are promising Mr Calm won the Kentucky Derbv with Typhoon II and the Kentucky Oaks with Crocket
