STANLEY FAY AGAIN IN TRAINING William Walkers String in Fine Condition Other Training News from Toronto Toronto Out April 2 Tho horses of William Walker wintered exceptionally well at their quarters on Reach avenue but will not engage In active racing until the opening of the Woodbine spring meeting Seven head make up the lot three of which are twoyearolds Of the latter trio two are Provinecbreds of Mr Walkers own breeding It is regivtablc that his first nomination to lie Kings Plate llertha Walker named after his wife will be among the missing on May 24 The filly has gone wrong in her underpinning and has been mated with Stanley Fay This daughter of Ildrim Golden Glitter II was a product of Mrs Liv ¬ ingstons Pontiac Farm at Cobourg ood old Stanley Fay now eight years old will be stiven another opportunity thls year to add addi ¬ tional laurels to Ills already brilliant career He went wrong In his early preparation at Baltimore last spring and was retired for the season without faeimr the starter He is going along soundly again and his owner entertains hojies that ho will stand training this year Stanley Fay has been used to some extent for bredlng Imrposes this spring and is looking as lit as a fiddle He lias already won for Mr Walker 30830 and is tho best horse that turfman ever owned He refused to part with the Canopus Mamie B horse when a five yearold for 10500 Stanley Fay is naturally tho pride of the stable It is expected that Colston will prove a valuable acquisition to the stable this year in events over a considerable distance of ground He raced credit ¬ ably at Woodbine last fall His best effort was in the Ontario Jockey Club Cup at two and a ijuarter miles In which he finished second to Sotenua de ¬ feating Star Charter handily His
