BLUE BONNETS SOON READY FOR TRAINERS Montreal Que April 24 The continued fine weather of the past few days has put the track at Blue Bonnets iu such condition that it will not be long before Hie locally owned horses now stabled at the course will be given their regular work over It instead of ou the roads The local trainers have taken advantage of the fine weather ami early spring and have their horses in a much more ad ¬ vanced condition than for years at this early season Trainer Allan Bulcroft who was one of the most successful of Canadian trainers a year ago has Hie horses advancedIu under his care well advanced Iu this stable is WIckson the steeplechaser owned bv Lionel Ekers This horse was well up ou the winning list last fall and will show improvement this season Another In the stable Is Irish Heart winner of the Provincial Nursery Stakes last full This colt is an eligible for the Kings Plate race next fall and will be given racing education this summer in events for provincebred horses There are also a number of twoyearolds In this string that have doue remarkably well during the winter months
