WARMER WEATHER AT ALAN Siiokane Wash April 24 Patrons of racing at the Alan track were favored today with bright sun ¬ shine and warm weather for the first time during this meet ing The dust was Hying from under the feet of the horses but the time was not quite as fast as on tho previous days There was a large attendance and the majority of the races furnished Interesting contests Three of them found the win ¬ ners marginsJleadow under hard drives to win by small margins Jleadow a great favorite in this locality made her initial start for this season in the allowance race at i distance that is loo short for her Parlor Boy tho winner and Lackrose raced as a learn through the final sixteenth in one of the hardest stretch struggles ever seen at this course Lackrose dashed o the front at the start was closely pressed by Parlor Boy which was shut off near the half mile post He made up the lost ground in game fashion Seneca challenged them both and was only a head away at the finish
