ALAN FAVORITES BOWLED OVER Spokane Wash May 10 There were some sur ¬ prises at Alan this afternoon the favorites being bowled over In pretty nearly all the races Moller scored a lucky victory in the opening dash Hush ¬ ing to the front quickly he escaped a jam that occurred right after the start Hazel C the fa ¬ vorite swerved from the outside to the inner rail bothering some of the others Mona Canonnum was returned the winner of the fourth race She won because she is essentially a front runner She stole off into a lead over tho others that were being rated behind her expecting that she would tire in the linal part Delancy the favorite finished with a priit rush but it was late lateSir Sir Fretful after winning the lifth race was bid up fronl 400 to 700 by W Smith He was re ¬ tained by the usual advance liy owner J J Coalter
