Sight straight in the stretch racing and just as he got clear of Bwana Tiiinbo his mount swerved to the inside rail sharply cutting ISwaua Tumbo off The stewards took advantage of the amended rule of the Canadian Kacing Associations which permits them to use discretion In disquali ¬ fying cither one or both of an entry in the event of interference by disqualifying only First Sight the change in the placing giving Bwana Tumbo second money and Ambcrite third As Plate Glass and First Sight were coupled it cut no figure witli those who wagered on the Davies entry Last fall at the annual meeting of the Canadian Haciug Asso ¬ ciations several rules were changed and some amended The rule which covered todays case which refers to interference and foul riding was 105 paragraph 5 of which reads
