GOSSIP FROM CANADIAN SOURCES Toronto Out June 4 The Brookdale Stable will not be raced at Montreal but as yet it has not been definitely decided whether Ottawa or Hamilton will be the next scene of activity The string is still at Woodbine but is at present in a rather crippled condition conditionTrainer Trainer John Nixon of the Davies stable decided not to take part in the Blue Bonnets meetings but will ship sixtwn head to Ottawa on Friday The rest of the string of nine have been sent back to the farm including Gold Bud which will be retired for breeding purposes The other Plater Meter l owed a tendon and will be temporarily retired The provincebred twoyearolds Roguish Dildon Duke of Chester and Flower Girl will bo rested The good tilly Ilecoil was sore after her last race in the Victoria Stakes and will be tired The two yearolds Volunteer and Hearts Delight will be gelded Failing to train satisfactorily Eddie Gleason has sent Senex back to F Johnston at Elora but an ¬ other attempt will be made to get the exWilson gelding to the post during the second meeting at Hamilton
