WINNING HORSES AT ROYAL ASCOT London June 17 At the Ascot meeting today the Ascot Stakes of 20 sovereigns each with 2000 sovereigns added for three year olds and upwards at two miles a handicap was won by Lord Car ¬ narvons fouryearold bay colt Rivoli by Robert le Diabie Marliacea 10 pounds L Brassoys four year old hay colt Catmint by Spearmint Kcd Lily 110 pounds was second and T Martins four year old bay colt Junior by Symington Scylla 103 pound1 finished third thirdThe The Gold Vase of 20 sovereigns eacli with 10 sovereigns added and also a gold vase of the value of 200 sovereigns given by His Majesty for three year olds and upward at two miles was won by E Hullons three year old chestnut colt Shogun by Santoi Kendal Itelle with A V Bassets Ihrcc year old chestnut colt St Merodiac by Marcovil Sacristan second and L de Kothscbilds threeyear dd chestnut colt Day Comet by St Priisqnln Cat gut third
