STUART POLK IS RULED OFF Spokane Wash June 10 Weather conditions produced another change in the going at Alan today Heavy rain that fell from 10 oclock until 12 this morning converted tlie track into a muddy condi ¬ tion Parlor Boy won the fourth race at live and half furlongs after a hard stretch struggle with King Elk lasting over an eighth of a mile Parlor Boy gained the decision by a neck neckStuart Stuart Polk was today ruled off for refusing to give up the mare Hazel C which was recently claimed by Harry Mack Mr Polk protested the claim stating that Mr Mack who had Buss la the race was claiming his horse for outside interests Mr Polk could not prove that there was any founda ¬ tion to his protest and he refused to turn the mare over so the board of stewards ruled as stated Jockey statedJockey Pauley was instructed by the judges to accept no more mounts at this meeting for his Indifferent handling of tlie horse Lescar LescarC C W Kennon was bid up from 100 to 300 bv A H Wilkinson but was bought in by owner W A McKinney
