TRULY WINS COEUR DALENE DERBY Spokane Wash June 21 The running of tho richest stake of the season the Coeur dAlene Derby carrying a value of 2000 took plaen at Alan this afternoon The distance was one mile nd oneeighth The attendance was the largest o the season Five of the Iwst threeyear olds here lined up l efore Starter Tribe and were sent away to a perfect break The favorite Truly at once fell behind the fast pace set by Tellurium and Vested Hights The race finally settled down to a contest between the Texasbred sister to Meadow and the Californiabred colt Orlin Krupn Jockey Groth sent Truly after the leaders on the turn for home and Warren brought Orlin jiKrlpp up to her tlank When Groth drew his whip on Truly she gamely responded and drew away to win in time that reduced the Irack record by threi tifths of a second The tilly and her rider wore tendered a grand reception ou their return to the judges stand
