YOUNG RACERS AT BOSQUE BONITA Lexington Ky July 5 John H Morris who for so many years trained the horses of George J Long and others but who a half dozen or more sum ¬ mers ago took up breeding exclusively has nlno yearlings and blx sucklings at his Bosque Bonita Farm In Woodford County On the whole they mako u decidedly representative collection of young thor ¬ oughbreds but the star of the lost is the chestnut colt by Goldcrest out of the good producing marc Mary Agnes dam of Iouise S Floss S Simplicity etc by Powhattiin This is a handsome upstanding racylooking colt and is the property of Mrs Joseph Neal of Louisville daughter of tho late John Welch of Spring Station StationThree Three attractive yearlings by Knight of the Thistle are the property of U H McCarter Potter owner of the Pequest Stud New Jersey They are a brown colt out of Fable daui of Rafnland bay filly out of Tantalize dam of Thomas Calhoun and brown filly out of Mary Kdna by St Julieu The JulieuThe other five yearlings are owned by Mr Morris The hay colt by Goldcrest out of Kvelyn J dam of Arany Is a handsome horse Tho chestnut colt by Goldcrest dam Result a daughter of Compute and Adelaide Prince a winner and half sister to tlie great mare Cap and Bells is much admired The others are a chestnut filly by Goldcrest out of Tardy dam of Shirley Rossmore Dilatory and Miss Charcol brown or black filly bv Charcot dam Kller diu dam of Right and True and bay filly by Charcot GolderestThe dam Pretty Betty by Golderest The suklings owned by Mr Morris are live Iu num ¬ ber and they are all colts four being by Knight ot the Thistle out of Affect dam of Bwana Tumbo Handzarra Result and Tardy respectively and tho other by Samson out of Mary Morris The colt out of Tardy is a chestnut and Affects Is a brown The others are bays The other suckling on the farm is a bay eoll by Samson dam Flower and he is the properly of Charles Llttletield of New York It Is quite inisual to find ICO per cent colts Iu any crop of a half dozen or more foals foalsAll All of Hie marcs at Hosque Bonlfa were muted this year with Knight of the Thistle and Samson These stallions are in excellent condition after their stud season The twoyearolds March and Slnalco are turned out at this farm The former a half brother lo Ida May Forehead and Fovetop has never started and will be put in training again tills cominj fall but Sinalco Is lame and it may be that he will bo on tho shelf until next year
