SEVERAL IHOROUGHSRED SALES SCHEDULED New York July 25 Announcement of several sales of thoroughbred horses has been made by the PowersHunter Company Time was when the Kentucky yearlings were marketed at Sheeps head Bay but this season the auction will ie transferred to Saratoga During the meeting t the Springs which is to open August 2 there will be a gathering of horsemen from every section of the country and it should prove an excellent marketing place placeThe The Saratoga sale is scheduled for August 24 when many consignments will go under the ham ¬ mer Among the farms and breeders that will be represented are the Adelbert Dixiatra and Maple hurst studs K P Shipp George J Stoll John H Morris and others othersH H G Oxnard will offer his yearlings from the Blue Ridge Stud August 29 and the following day the sale catalogue will be made up of horses in training Returning to New York Hie foreign lot of the late Charles Kohler will go under the hammer at Sheepshead Bay September 8 and on the fol ¬ lowing day the Ormondale yearlings are to be offered offeredThe The only other sale now arranged for by I ho PowersHunter Company is the regular Fall auction at Lexington Ky This will be conducted Novem ¬ ber 10 11 and 12
