BRIGHTON BEACH FINANCIAL TROUBLES New York August 2 Two judgments agrregat iug 40C70 were obtained this week in the Su ¬ preme Court by default against the Brighton BeucU Kacing Association one for U250 In favor of The Jockey Club and the other for 15420 in favor of the Westchestcr Racing Association The judg ¬ ments were rendered on notes executed by William A Kuiemau president and Warren L Xeu treas ¬ urer of the Brighton Association AssociationThe The note in favor of The Jocki1 Club was executed October 15 1010 and the other was miilo on October 1010 1010An An affidavit by Victor AA Cutting one of the attorneys of The Jockey Club quotes Mr lingeniiii as saying that if tho suits were pressed they would result in wiping out the equity of the Brighton Beach Kacing Association and Incidentally wiping oit myself According to Cutting this statement was made four days after the summons and com ¬ plaint was served ou Treasurer Neu NeuAAheu AAheu reminded by Mr Cutting that he had promised to put in a notice of appearance In a short time Kngeman Is said to have replied repliedYou You have already served the treasurer Mr Neil I do not sci what more I can do for you I have the papers here in my pocket and unless you withdraw this service I shall have to advise the other creditors Your clients will gain no priority as the Brighton Beach Racing Association will be thrown into bankruptcy
