SKIRVIN SADDLE STAR AT DUFFERIN Tho second days race raceat at Dufferiii Park were witnessed by a good mid ¬ week day crowd fully OOO being in attendance Racing conditions were highly favorable Four of the eight races were won by tirst choices Oakley a wellbacked good tiling was returned an easy winner in the seventh Shippegan and Bogart the latter a despised outsider scored their maiden vic ¬ tories in the lirst and sixth races The latter race furnished one of the most sinctacular finishes f the card when the first three Hashed past tho finish ¬ ing apartThe line heads apart The riding of jockey Skirvin was the outstanding feature He piloted three winners a second and two thirds in slv attempts He stands head and shoulders in riding ability over all the other boys here hereDust Dust pulled up lame after the sixth race raceFor For sending Lueotta to the post wlhottt blinkers thus delaying the start of the third race ten min ¬ utes judgesJockey I G Cameron was lined 10 by the judges Jockey J Ihnveiiport drew a twodays suspension from starter Murray for disobedience at the post on FlyiJig Pearl
