MARYLAND SEASON AT HAND HANDBaltimore Baltimore Md August 28 The opening of Mary ¬ lands fall racing season will take place at Timqnlum on September 2 and from that time on there will be no letup until the finish at Iimlico in November NovemberDeparting Departing from its usual course Timonium wilt give only running events this season and a fine program has beeu provided for the five days of the fair It looks as if there would bo some horses of good quality for the meeting A very respectable lot is already on the ground honing up for the opening openingErnest Ernest Ltterbaek of Mauassas Junction Va vvus one of the first to arrive and has his string iu line shape Including Mollio S Hedge Kose aiidThelma J Three carloads of horses are coming from Can ada More are coming from Empire City and it i expected that a detachment will also come from Havre de Grace GraceThe The Havre de Grace meeting will follow the close of Timonium and if all signs do not fail the Harford County people arc in for a great meeting The present outlook is for more horses than can be accommodated although sixty new stalls have beeu built this summer The track can take care of about 450 horses ami about 100 more can be stabled outside but judging from the present applications there will be an overllow that will have to go elsewhere elsewhereH H J Bedwells string of twentytwo has arrived at Havre de Grace from Canada Wayne Joplin will ship about eight head among them Chilton King Moisant and Free Trade W B Carson is coming from Fort Erie witli Superstition and five others othersOthers Others who will ship to Maryland at ouce include Roy G Martin with Miss Edith and John Iteardou A Maloue with Carlton G W P 1ine with Sir Blalst Martin Foley and K Spence with the fast twoyearold Hodge G W Scott will ship seven head from Porter Ind
