BARR was favored by the going and followed DADDY GIP closely to the last eighth where he drew out to win in a canter. GALLEY SLAVE ran a good race and stood the final drive gamelv. GEORGE OXNARD was kept well up to the end and outstayed DADDY GIP in the final strides. DADDY GIP set the pace for the lirst half and tired fast in the stretch. MISS JEAN ran a good half. CANDY BOX began slowly and came from far back in the stretch. BOLALA ran in closest pursuit, to the stretch and tired badly In the last eighth.
