JAMES BUTLERS PROMISING YEARLINGS. New York, November 13. With a bunch of yearling brothers and sisters to such horses as Ballot. Sweep, Suffragist, Besom, Iron Mask, Celt and Stinger romping over the meadows of East View Farm in Westchester Comity, James Butler contemplates the season of 1914 with complacency. He will have youngsters for all sorts of racing and it is more than merely likely that he will develop three or four first-class horses, for Mr. Butler not long since bought the entire yearling output of the late James It. Keenes famous Castletou 6nil, and it has not happened for ten or fifteen years that Castleton failed in a season to send urst-elass horses to the American races. The yearlings, thirty in number, are in charge of It. C. BensOn, a man well known the country over as a skillful handler of both trotters and runners. Mr. Butler, who has known Mr. Benson for years, Kent for him at Juarez last spring as soon as he de-eid-d to buy the Keene yearlings and Mr. Benson is in supreme charge of the outfit. He will have the making of the engagements of the Castleton-bred youngsters ami when they come to the races next season he will decide where they are to run and when.
