CANADIAN HALF-MILERS TO ORGANIZE. The ancient rumor that the directors of half-mile racing tracks propose to organize an association after the same fashion as the Canadian Racing Associations is revived. It is certain that the matter has been talked about, but up to the present the idea has got no further than the discussion stage. Pour oarlers have been exchanged and something definite mav, or may not, be ultimately decided upon. As long as the Racing Associations leave the half-inilers alone it would be hard to see what they have got to organize about. Possibly they want a voice in the making of rules. Possibly also their rules being independent of the bigger fellows may lead to disnutes that will overturn the entire apple cart. Harry Good In Montreal Mail.
