JOCKEY CLUB FOR WINNIPEG. Winnipeg. Man.! January 20. Manitoba is to hnva the thoroughbreds for a big mcetjng probably during the coming summer. It is announced, that R.. J. Mackenzie, well known throughout the racing world as the owner r Tast stables of runners and trotters, has sold the Kirktield track to the Manitoba Riding Club Tor S220.OOO. It is also stated that the club will give meetings to the legal limit each year. Kirktield track is a mile enclosure, ten miles from Winnipeg, and was originaly built by R. J. Mackenzie for racing purposes, but it never was used to any extent. Recently motorcycle races have lieen the elder feature. A new stand will be built.
