I OIlNCRACKEIi, showing sudden improvement and away well, raced into the lead soon after the start and easily held sway to the end. MISS ELEANOR ran well up throughout and held on gamely in the closing drive. STENTOR made up ground and was gaining at the end. TYRO suffered from interference and finished well. LEOPOLD probably, was best, but was forced back at the start and had to go extremely wide all the way. BEN LOYAL set tho early pace and quit after running well for a half. FLORAL CROWN linished fast. TOM HANCOCK was badly outpaced in the early running, but saved much ground on the turns by staying close to the inner rail and, finishing fast, got up to win in the last stride. CHAS. CANNELL passed the leaders in the stretch and seemed in the last sixteenth lo be winning handily when his rider became careless and he was nipped out right at the end. LAURA showed the most speed and set a good puce, but began tiring after going live-eighths. GORDON showed speed and improvement, but tired. SONNY BOY lost much ground by going wide. CAIIGH HILL was reserved behind the leaders to tho stretch, then came with a great rush and was going away at the end. SHERAVOOD set a good pace and disused of PALANQUIN in the lirst half, but tiled slightly near the end. CHART1ER was knocked back in the first quarter and finished fast and gamely. ANCON lost ground when coming into the stretch, but finished resolutely and just failed to get up for third place. PALANQUIN ran a fast half and tired badly in the stretch drive. L. H. FRANK HUDSON, from a slow beginning, closed a g:-p and imiiio fast through the last quarter. ROYAL METEOR showed much early speed, but tired badly in Hie last quarter. MY FELLOW ran well !.tr a mile, but tired in the stretch drive. BONNIE ELOISE ran a bad race and so did MOLLIE S. CARA-QUEJ. quit after setting the early pace and going a good half. JACOB BUNN set the earlv pace and was hard ridden all the way. but tired and just lasted long enough to outstay PROSPECT. The latter ran a good race for him, but tired slightly in the stretch drive. MONKEY rail well and came fast in the stretch. F.tiONT ROYAL was huaten after going a half. CI IAS. F. GRAINGER finished well.
