Willi the exception of the Grand Canadian Steeplechase, the Niagara Racing Association will tills scasou renew its stake program of 1013. The tirst of the seasons meetings at Fort Erie will take place July 1-11, during which the following stakes will be run: Canadian Derby guaranteed value ,500. for three-year-olds, distance one mile and a quarter. Fourth of July Handicap, value ,500, for three-year-olds and over, one mile and seventy yards. Niagara Stakes, value ,500, for two-year-olds, live-eighths of a mile. Fort Erie Stakes, selling, value ,500. for thrc;-year-olds and over, three-quarters of a mile. Tlie ,000 Dominion Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, one mile and a quarter, will lie the chief feature "of the second meeting August 5-12. Other events to bo run during this meeting are the Iroquois Hotel Handicap, value ,500, for two-year-olds, live and a half furlongs, and the Canadian Sportsman Handicap, value ,500, for three-year-olds and over, one mile and a sixteenth.
