OVERLAND PARK TO BE IMPROVED. Denver. Col., April 11. — W. W. Finn, who is to have charge of the Overland Park track for the Denver lair and Racing As-ociati.m. has arrived here, and ou Monday will enter ujion the task of preparing the plant for the coining meeting. The alterations and improvements contemplated are so extensive that it will lie necessary to employ a large force of men to carry them to completion by June 13, the date set for the opening. Baring Secretary Robert F. Ieighlon has already received a large numlier of entries for the stakes to he run during the meeting, entries to which are absolutely free. Applications for stalls hare been coming iu from all directions. Two and iwissiblv three carloads of horses are coming liere from Norfolk. Six horses arrired yesterday from Juarez. The-e were Charley Fox. Wise Mason, Oblivion and Fori Johnson, belonging to A. E. Morgan: Flying dOr. the property of J. Cranor and Lady Maid, belonging to M. T. Morris. More arrivals are expected from the same place on Monday.
