PIMLICO MEETING BEGINS SOCIETY FOLK OF BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON THRONG OLD MARYLAND COURSE. Slay 6.— Historical old Pimlico came into its own today with the opening of the spring season id racing of the Maryland Jockey Club. While the program lacked quality, it furnished interesting contests and the large crowd in attendance really enjoyed the sport. Uoyal Blue won tin tit r li race from Disillusion, a half sister to Dishabille. 1rltshire just managed to get up in the closing strides to beat Chuckles in the second race, while Tactics upset calculations by beating Aldebaran in the third. Hugh McCarren. .1. Phillips and Charles Key nobis made up a carload of thirty horses that shipped from Havre de Grace to Montreal. They will be raced at Helorimier Iark and other lialf-niile tracks in Canada. Hr. .1. S. Tyree.
