Execution of this prison sentence was suspended so that the Governor might grant the promised clemency. These men were Max Slu-p-pard. Robert Thompson. Melville Strauss. Samuel St.rn. B L. Msaaaa and luiis Fnger. They paid their liu.s. Matthew Frank, in whose case the jury failed to agree, bit for Men Turk after being hailed. It is understood, however, that he will accept the Governors terms. M. Marks, who w as convicted earlier In the week, and appealed from a line of 00 and six months in jail, withdrew his motion ami paid the line, after aee.pting the proffered terms.
