IAWIllSKA was always a forward contender and came wide when catering the homestretch, but responded gamely to ergiag and easily disposed of BESOM for second place. The 1. liter showed splendid speed iii pecemakmg, bat tired and ipiit when challenged. SCALLYWAG was repeatedly cat nil, but hushed gamely and ran a good face. WATBB WELI.FS was uualile to improve his Isili.n because his rider could not do him justiee. TBIFLKB finished fast. P.ELI. fi OF UKVN MAWll showed speed and oalt badly. HKLBN BARBEB, after racing in nearest pursuit of the leader, moved up gamely in the homestretch and passed PUNCH HOWL, then was lb, bag in the last eighth and had to be bard ridden to oatatay ILIT-TKRCOLD. The latter was saved in the early mnnlng and until in the final quarter, then closed up nun scingly, but tired in the closing strides. PINCH BOWL set a terrific early pace and tired, but buns on s.iinely. STAB GAZE refused to extend himself iii the eary running, but finished resolutely. ROLLING STUM: ran well to the stretch.
