GOOD CROWD AT HAWTHORNE. Some 3,000 persons were attracted to the Hawthorne track ye-sterdav bv the first of the two days of thoroughbred racing In connection with the Cook Countv fair. The crowd was enthusiastic and saw-some interesting racing. The sport will be continued today, when it is expected that the attend-dance will be even greater.
