t : HORSES THAT WON MORE THAN 5,000 FOR AMOS TDRNEY r Owner Amos Turney did not fare as xw.l in the racing of 1914 as he did in th.it of 1913. Nevertheless, a return of over 5,000 from a band of only ten horses was not doing badly by any means and in Watechass he enjoyed the pleasure of possessing and. racing one of the best three-year-olds of the year. Nothing could be- done with his unbeaten star of 1913, Horron, but Kiebnrne raced fairly well and, without winning a i ace, contrived to pick up over 2,000 in place money, something not frequently accomplished. Bolaia, Balko and Glint all won usefully. In 1913 the Turney horses won 31,294 and,. the two years taken, together, were in money vyon the most successful ever experienced by Mr. Turney as a turfman.
