ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR 1916 NEXT SEASONS MEETING AT NEW ORLEANS FAIR GROUNDS WILL BEGIN JANUARY 1 Season Will Consist of 50 Days of Racing and Effort Will Be Made to Make It Most Notable Winter Meeting Ever Held in the South Xew Orleans La March 20 Xew Orleans will have hftysix days of racing next year the meetin extending from January 1 until Mardi Gras whieli comes later in March than it did this year The yearThe Business Mens Racing Association has de ¬ cided also t build WO new stables renovate t In old ones ajid provide acccinmodations for 1000 horses Word has been sent to Joseph A Murphy presiding judge who is now in St Louis to announce these plans plansJudge Judge Murphy has already outlined a campaign to make next years race meeting the greatest over held in the south He has assurances from some of the owners of the largest stables in the countrv that they will send representative strings here anil he predicts that there will be more class at the Fair hereThe Grounds in 1W than has ever been seen here The Business Mens Racing Association is said to have received Judge Murphys assurance that the next meeting will be even more cleanly con ¬ ducted than was the one this year The word huu been quietly passed to a number of horse owners that there would be no room for them at the Fair Grounds and the weeding out process will continue Judge Murphy promises until the objectionable ele ¬ ment both on the course and in the palm garden has been entirely eliminated
