VETERAN IRISH TURFMAN IS DEAD. The death occarred in Dahlia Jaae 25 of Mr. William limine, one of the best known sportsmen in Ireland, who had been racing for Bfty years or more. lie aras 72 yean of age. The cause ol death was heart failure following an operation, which was successfully performed. The deceased was elected ■ menrber of the Turf Clou in 180* and on numerous occasions was :i steward of that body. He owned many bitch class horses, but he never made m better Investment than when he purchased the broodmare Armor. 1 for 35 quineaa, fur she was the dam ol the smaahhug -minor Ureal Sui which Mr. Dunne sold te Mr. Rhodes for 822.500.
