July 22.— Hie aslWHSd Dark Stalil«H Celattdria showed herself to be a capital tilly today when she shouldered 122 pounds ai-.l defeated a giMid band of hot own age and sex in the Demoiselle Stakes, worth 81,515 net. The tilly led throughout and held Malachite perfectly safe in lie final eighth ami won by two lengths. Malachite was second and Mis- Iuzzie third. Malachite was rather slow at the start, hut after working into a contending IMisillon. finished resolutely and had no mishaps.
