DUFFERIN TRACK CONDITION CAUSES FALLS. Toronto. Out., August 5. — Although it had dried out considerably, the track was aoft in spots for the fifth days racing al Dufferin Lark this afternoon and numerous falls occurred. Dare Devil and Royal Blue came to grief on the first turn in the second race. King Worth, uncle Jlnimie and Strange Girl stumbled at different stages iu their respective races and lost their riders, who all escaped injury. Mater scored her third consecutive victory at this meeting when she defeated a good band of sprinters in the seventh race. Parlor Hoy and Scrimniage pioviileil the best finish of the day. the former barely lasting to win by a bead iu the concluding dash. Only one favorite. Americas, was successful. During the running of the sixth race yesterday. Delegate was so badly cut down that he will probably have to be destroyed. Parlor Hoy will he shipped to port Erie tonight to join the II. ii. P.edwell string. Trainer Short will ship the rest of the Kedwell berets racing here to King Edward Park, Montreal, tomorrow night. The Goodmaa stable was Shipped to King Ldward Park tonight.
