September 22.— Henry Wat- oison supplied the winner of the feature event of the afternoon when Itunes took high-class opponents into camp in the Itoyal Blue Handicap at a mile and Revest yard-. of the original seven carded, two were scratched, namely. The field waa dispatched to a good start and Distant Shore was Hie first to slew in motion. He was closely followed by ltttues. with the rest closely hunched a length or two back. Coing to the second turn ltuues moved up and took a abort bail, which he gradually increased to the finish. Distant Shore was the one to race into second place, while Inclc Biyn took third. Iron Duke moved up at the head of the stretch, but Boon quit. The l-inn was at no time prominent in the running of the race. The six races offered by the management was productive .t good and wlndesoin ■ snort during the afternoon. Large anil woll-balanced fields faced the starter.
