Austins Milestone, which had been racing in creditable fashion on Canadian courses during the past summer, accounted for the .olden Bod Stakes, ,200 net. over a fairly good band of mveniles at Churchill Downs today. T. C. McDowells Checks was the runner-up at the end and Pockichoo was third. The winner, running freely in the heavy going, after disposing of .Mary II.. which showed the most speed to the last turn, took the lead and had the race easily won while traversing the last eighth. Checks showed good form in standing the bard drive he did. Pockichoo was a sufferer at the start and that circumstance contributed towards his failure to do better. There was extensive snp-liort by his connections for Ellison, but he showed nothing to warrant the backing.
