Barnetts Cetigne. a bav colt bv Sottas, out of Pretty Nell, which as a two-ye.ir-oid had won two good races, one of them the Australian Jockev Club Sires* Produce Stakes, run over seven-eighths. A two-year-old that can stav .-nil win over seven-eighths can safely be depend! d upon to caver a distance of ground at three, and Cetigne moreover, is by Grafton by Calopin. out of Maiii Murian. One of the most successful sires of Blacklock descent in Australia, Grafton had previously sired a winner oi the double-event of the Victoria Racing Club Derby and the Australian Jockev Club Derbv iu Sylvanite, while by aid of Peru he was credited with the Champion Stakes, ami wilh the Victoria Pacing Club St. Leger by Crasspan. und two Australian Grand Nationals with GrafacU and Irafnax.
