El Paso, Texas, December 2. — Tlie Juarez card today was once more given over to the selling platers. Tlie weather continued pleasant and the sport was well patronized. The days proceedings began with a three-quarter-mile sprint for maidens of all ages. Cossack, a twei-year-old from the Goldblatt stable, was a well backed favorite and justified the confidence that had been reposed in him by taking the lead with tlie rise of the barrier and outrunning his opponents all the way. Bonnies Buck displaced Andy H. as the runner-up at the end. The second race went tJ Sweetdale, well backed at good odds. Wife I Busy Edith was held at MM to win the fourth race and, exhibiting the same good form as iu her pree-eding start, she led throughout and had a margin at the end of four lengths over Colle, which had been in persistent pursuit all the way.
