E. Widener and P. T. Chinn. New York. December C— The steamship Minnehaha, which was t » have left London on Saturday last, did not sail until today. Four of the Clarence Mackay consignment of thorouglibreds were not - uip| ed for some reason, leaving fifteen bead, thirteen ,«f which are yearlings. One two-vear-old named Nyaek. by Incle — Semhlance. and the fre- .iieiit four-year-old winner Alleumeur, by Meddler —Strikc-n -Light, are on the same steamer. II. P. Whitney has three and Thomas Welsh has -ew-ral in eharge U-longiug to J. K. Widener. There are a few others bought at the recent December Newmarket sales, one lot being sent to Ihil T. Chinn, the latter having been represented by W. Duke at the sales. The ship is due here about Dei -ember Hi. •Hob Rose, once part owner of the good horse Clifford, left, on Saturday for southern California to spend the winter.
