From this is will be seen that Wootton has an eye to some of the Australian rich two and three-year-old races. The surprising part is that some syndicate has not long ere this taken the step proposed. Much is thought by Percy Lynham. Frank Jar Gould s trainer at Maisons Lnffitte. of some of the first stock of the stallions Combourg and Peter I an. two sires which were foaled respectively in. France and America. Combourg. which is bv Bay Ronald — Chiffonette, was a good stayer, and. as a four-year-old he won the Prix du Cadran two miles and five-eighths. Lynhnni thinks highly of his yearling son Vimbourg whose dam is incenette. for the youngster is much like bja sire. Although promising, the Peter Pan vearling-i are seemingly not hi the same class as Vimbourg. Ocnrrencia still heads the list of winning horses in the Argentine, with eight victories worth 47.-7S4.
