GREAT LADIES DAY CROWD ATTENDANCE RECORD FOR OCCASION BROKEN AT NEW ORLEANS YESTERDAY. Dr. larrick Wins the Principal Race of the Day —Clubs Is Beaten and Gains a New Owner — Track Notes. Clark, respectively, winners of the hrst and second races, being trained and ridden l.y the two. Aristocrat, like Little Bigger and V. W. lark, was first choice in the betting and maile good in the third race. Alter a lengthy retirement. Class was uncovered as ;l prospective "good tiling" in the tilth and he proved a failure for he was beaten by the outsider. Intone. It. Brinkley Snow den. a well-known Memphis banker, arrived in the city this morning for a conference with Joseph A. Murphy, with a view to reviving racing in Tennessee. President A. L. There is a Movement on foot to hold a ten-day meeting at Mobile. The plan includes racing there Sating the carnival period.
