ARGUMENT gained steadily from a slow beginning and moved up rapidly after entering Ihe homestretch, but tired tight at the end. BEAUMONT BELLE was a forward contender all the wav and finished gamely. HABERDASH raced under restraint far back until the last quarter, then dosed up with a rush. STFLLATA began slowly and quit after moving up on the far turn. INI.
